Your child will need to undergo a comprehensive physical examination and some laboratory tests. Thorough examinations at our clinic may include echocardiography and/or ECG to assess the anatomy and rhythm of the heart and help us accurately diagnose any problems. These assessments are followed by therapeutic treatment as appropriate. In some cases, patients may be referred for surgical treatment in another facility, or to undergo diagnostic or interventional cardiac catheterization by our cardiologist. This aims to treat a heart defect without surgically opening the heart and chest, enabling a more rapid and comfortable recovery for your child.
