At Kanad Hospital, we focus on the health and well-being of female reproductive organs. Our gynecology services also include the following:
- Preventative Screenings: Vital screenings for early detection of female cancers, specifically targeting the cervix, ovaries, breast, and uterus. These tests can be lifesaving, identifying problems that may otherwise go unnoticed. We also offer diagnostic tests and screenings such as Pap smears, colposcopy, HPV detection and vaccination (Gardasil), breast self-examination, breast ultrasound, tumor marking, and transvaginal scanning.
- Specialized Gynecological Surgery: We provide surgical solutions for stress incontinence, genital prolapse, pelvic pain, ovarian cysts, fibroids, abnormal bleeding, and other conditions. Laparoscopic and hysteroscopic methods are used as appropriate.

Our Obstetrics department ensures that expecting mothers receive comprehensive medical care throughout their pregnancy for both the mother and baby’s well-being.
Our Obstetrics Services include:
- Prenatal Counselling: Providing counseling sessions on fetal development, nutrition, and lifestyle choices that can impact both maternal and fetal well-being.
- Routine Prenatal Care: Regular blood and urine screenings, ultrasound scans, physical examinations, and other monitoring methods for the baby’s growth and development.
- Consultation for Pregnancy-related Medical Conditions: Advice for women with high blood pressure, diabetes, thyroid disorders, renal problems, and other conditions affecting pregnancy
- Labor and Delivery Options: Support for vaginal birth after cesarean and repeat cesarean sections, along with a five-week course of prenatal classes. Water labor is available for qualifying mothers.
- Neonatal Intensive Care: Our neonatal intensive care unit provides specialized care for premature infants or babies with medical conditions.
