To maintain our continuing compliance, the laboratory abides and is committed to the Department of Health (DOH) Abu Dhabi Clinical laboratory Standards, ISO 15189, and Joint Commission International (JCI) Accreditation Standards.
The fully functional laboratory houses state-of-the-art machinery, with the latest top-quality machines in place, guaranteed to give quick results while maintaining the standards of quality and efficiency that have always been the trademark of our laboratory.
The laboratory also participates in proficiency testing provided by the College of American Pathologists (CAP), a benchmark in advocating the excellent practice of pathology and laboratory medicine worldwide.
Dr. Iman Doss, our veteran pathologist, has been head of Kanad Hospital laboratory for over 20 years.

Referred tests are sent to accredited laboratory facilities locally, in the United Kingdom, and in the USA.
Our team of experienced laboratory technologists are DOH licensed, specifically trained, and monitored to maintain productive and efficient work outputs. We maintain adequate staff during all hours of operation and emergencies.
We offer a full range of tests, many of which are done in-house. You will need a referral from your doctor before coming to the laboratory for tests. We also accept referrals from other hospitals or clinics.
Our laboratory is also able to arrange contract packages for employers or other groups who need laboratory work done.
