Dr. Sara Janne Aarsland is a dedicated Consultant obstetrician and gynecologist with a passion for improving women's health globally. A graduate of the University of Texas Medical Branch, Dr. Aarsland completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the Medical University of South Carolina, where she developed a strong foundation in women's health care. Dr. Aarsland is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Her previous experience includes serving as an OB-GYN consultant at a private hospital in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, and at Ginnir Hospital, a government facility in rural Ethiopia. In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Aarsland is involved in research and has a keen interest in addressing women's health issues in underserved communities. She speaks English and Norwegian fluently and conversational Amharic.
