Dr. Elliot Thomas Janssen is a board-certified Family Physician with a strong commitment to primary care, both inpatient and outpatient, and an emphasis on integrating spiritual care into medicine. He completed his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at Oklahoma State College of Osteopathic Medicine and pursued a Family Medicine residency at In His Image, associated with St. John Medical Center. Since February 2021, Dr. Janssen has been practicing at Kanad Hospital, where he provides comprehensive care to patients. He is skilled in Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) and Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics (ALSO) and has previously held hospital privileges at St. John Medical Center. His dedication extends beyond local practice; Dr. Janssen has volunteered in multiple international medical missions, providing care in countries like the UAE, Niger, Malawi, Kazakhstan, and Nepal. He is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Board of Family Medicine and the Christian Community Health Fellowship.
